Over the years we’ve been lucky enough to work with and become friends with some of the best artisan producers in the area. Incredible, passionate and extremely talented craftsmen and women, who excel in their specific products. Whether your interested in Prosecco and local wines, cheeses, vinegar’s, grains or vegetables. Let us know and we’ll arrange for you to visit their laboratories, homes, farms or mills, to listen, taste and experience first hand from the experts.

Wine tasting; meet with some of the best producers of the area, walking through the vineyard, observing and learning about the grapes, soil types, the vines, harvest and production methods, with an explanation of the history of Prosecco and other local wines . Enjoy all the different flavors of Prosecco in a full tasting with the producer in person as they guide you through their wines.
Cheese tasting; visit an award winning cheese producer, learn about the characteristics of each milk, the starter culture, the process of each stage, the molds and the aging. Experience going into the cellars, each set up with different temperatures and humidity. Together with the producer and a selection of cheeses, you’ll experience a full cheese tasting. Discus the different consistencies, touch, smell, persistence of flavour and of course the taste of each of the cheeses.
17th Century water mill; Polenta is a very important ingredient in the traditional Venetian cuisine, a simple nutritious element that gives inspiration to many tasty and clever recipes. Luckily we are close to this beautifully renovated polenta mill, experience activating the impressive stone to grind your own polenta flour and listen to the fascinating history of this beautiful place. You will learn more about this ingredient and why it was so important for our territory, gather in your hands some fresh flour to use back at Our Rustica where we’ll create some delicious dishes together…. but before leaving the mill we recommend to taste a sip or two of the amazing Passito wine… perfect with deserts or for meditation as they say!
